– X-Country provides expert
pressure washing, cob blasting, and washing
with a cleaning solution. The surface
preparation treatment we employ kills
fungal growth, opens the wood’s
pores, and even restores weathered logs
to their original color. This process
is crucial to the proper application of
preservation and finishing products.
- Preserving
– Once your home has been properly
cleaned and prepared, a protective treatment
is applied – a mild, borate-based
preservative called Penetreat, which protects
against mold, mildew, and insect infestation.
